Adele Announces Support of Hillary Clinton

Adele’s With Her! The superstar announced while at her concert in Miami she is supporting Hillary Clinton in the upcoming presidential election. Although the British sensation is unable to vote in the election on Nov. 8, she declared that she would rather see Clinton in the White House as opposed to Republican nominee Donald Trump, citing that the decision is just as important to the rest of the world as it is to the United States.

“I can’t vote but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her, she’s amazing,” Adele told the crowd inside the American Airlines Arena. “I am English, but what happens in America affects me too.”

Democratic nominee Clinton was in the show’s attendance, though it is unknown if Adele was aware of that beforehand. Throughout her Adele Live tour–which wraps up next month in Phoenix, AZ–the “Hello” singer has made various quips about Trump and praised Clinton.

Adele is not the only artist to voice her support for Clinton. Pop superstars Lady Gaga and Beyonce have also expressed their support, while Katy Perry and Demi Lovato spoke of their reasoning for voting for Clinton when she was announced as the party’s nominee at the Democratic National Convention in July.
