Macy’s annual Thanksgiving Day Parade will celebrate 90 years tomorrow as million of Americans prepare to feast on turkeys, potatoes and stuffing. Over 10,000 volunteers and performers will participate in this year’s parade, which kicks off per usual at 77th Street and Central Park West, and travels through Manhattan on a nearly three-mile route before wrapping up in front of Macy’s flagship store on Herald Square. Check out the performers expected to appear in Thursday’s extravagant lineup.
Brett Eldredge – The country singer released his third studio (and first holiday) album Glow last month, so you can count on him to perform a traditional tune featured on his latest effort.
Chloe and Halle – The young YouTube sensations had the biggest break in their career in 2016, appearing in Beyonce’s visual album Lemonade, and later opening for the global superstar on her Formation world tour.
Kelsea Ballerini – Ballerini took home the New Female Vocalist of the Year prize at the ACM Awards this year, following the success of her debut album The First Time.
Daya – One of the biggest breakout artists of the year, Daya made a big impact on the airwaves with her singles “Hide Away,” “Sit Still, Look Pretty,” and “Don’t Let Me Down,” a collaboration with DJ duo The Chainsmokers. She is also a featured performer in the upcoming iHeart Radio Jingle Ball tour.
Tony Bennett – Now at 90 years young, the legendary crooner proves he is still a staple of the business.
Grace Vanderwaal – This 12-year-old singing sensation has been compared to Taylor Swift while competing on this past season of America’s Got Talent. She went on to win the competition and its whopping million dollar prize.
Sarah McLachlan – Grammy winner Sarah McLachlan recently released the holiday album Wonderland, which is sure to provide plenty of spirit this holiday season.
Maddie and Tae – The country duo behind no. 1 single “Girl in a Country Song” spent the majority of 2016 on tour serving as the opening act for Brad Paisley on the Life Amplified world tour.
Easton Corbin – Corbin had a busy year joining country superstar Carrie Underwood on her Storyteller tour.
Regina Spektor – The singer-songwriter released her seventh studio album Remember Us to Life in September of this year, which went on to reach the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart.
Jacob Whitesides – The former X Factor contestant came out with his first full-length studio album in September, titled Why?
Laurie Hernandez – Olympic gold-medalist and newly crowned Dancing with the Stars champion Laurie Hernandez makes a special guest appearance.
