Kanye West is at it again. The controversial rapper has now canceled the European leg of his Saint Pablo tour after a tumultuous few months in which he found his way into headlines non-stop. While his Europe tour dates had yet to be released, the cancellation announcement ensures that fans across the pond will have to wait a while before seeing the 39-year-old rapper/producer.
West brought his Saint Pablo tour to an abrupt halt after a Nov. 19 show in Sacramento in which he performed a handful of songs then proceeded to go off on a lengthy rant before walking off the stage. It was officially announced that his remaining 21 shows of the North American tour leg would be canceled the following day.
Shortly after his tirade, West was hospitalized for two weeks with reports of exhaustion. He resurfaced on Dec. 13 in New York for a surprise meeting with President-elect Donald Trump, who was a topic of West’s rantings in the midst of a heated election. The rapper expressed his support of Trump in his San Jose concert, confirming that he didn’t cast a ballot in the election but would have voted for the President-elect.
On top of all the career turmoil West has endured, his personal life has faced just as much scrutiny, as rumors are now swirling that he and wife Kim Kardashian-West are in couple’s counseling.
While his 2016 has been filled with plenty of ups and downs, West has a chance for redemption in the new year, as he is nominated for eight Grammy Awards, second in nominations only to Beyonce.
