Country music’s longtime power couple is hitting the recording booth again. Tim McGraw and wife Faith Hill will release their first joint album later this year to the delight of their millions of fans.
The couple, who wed in 1996, will share a taste of their new music on Thursday with the release of their new duet, “Speak to a Girl,” which they also co-produced.
They are prepped for a whirlwind year, kicking off with a performance of their latest single at the ACM Awards–where McGraw has three nominations for his monumental hit “Humble and Kind“–on Sunday, April 2. Five days later, the duo will launch their Soul2Soul World Tour, which will make stops in over 60 North American cities before wrapping up at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 27.
The massive tour is the couple’s third co-headlining venture and has been buzzed about for months since it was first announced.
While McGraw and Hill are no strangers to collaborating together (see their Grammy-winning hits “Like We Never Loved At All” and “Let’s Make Love” among others), the prospect of a full-length joint studio album has fans giddy with excitement over the project two decades in the making.
There is no official word yet on the album’s title or release date.
