Jay-Z, Niall Horan announce upcoming tours

Add JAY-Z and Niall Horan to the long list of notable artists hitting the road in the second half of 2017.

The rapper, hot off the heels of his latest Platinum-certified album release, has announced his 26-date 4:44 Tour. He will play major North American arenas on the hot-ticket tour, which kicks off October 27 at Anaheim’s Honda Center. No supporting act has been announced yet, leaving the possibility for wife Beyonce to make appearances onstage alongside her husband wide open. The 4:44 Tour will follow JAY-Z’s anticipated upcoming appearances at Made in America Festival, The Meadows Arts and Music Festival and Austin City Limits. It marks his first headlining tour in four years, succeeding the Magna Carter World Tour.

Nearly a year after releasing his debut solo single “This Town,” Horan is poised to embark on his Flicker Sessions 2017 tour. The One Direction star is no stranger to playing sold-out shows at the world’s most massive stadiums, but for his first solo venture, he is scaling it back and playing more intimate venues to reflect his newfound singer-songwriter persona. The 21-date tour kicks off in his native Ireland August 29 and brings Horan to select cities across Europe, Australia, Asia and South America before traveling to the U.S. While Horan has teased that his debut album will be released sometime before the end of the year, it is unknown if the LP will be available prior to the tour’s start.
