Kesha announces upcoming Rainbow Tour

Break out the glitter! Kesha has announced an upcoming North American tour this fall, marking her first time hitting the road since 2013.

The pop star, who quickly became known as the party girl of the 21st century following her 2009 debut single “Tik Tok,” will travel to 21 North American cities on the Rainbow Tour, beginning Sept. 26. The tour will be in promotion of the singer’s upcoming album Rainbow, her third studio album and first LP in five years.

Despite her hiatus from releasing music, Kesha has remained in headlines recently over her personal battles with substance abuse and public legal dispute with music producer Dr. Luke. She has resurfaced with a new image as not just a party girl who puts out infectious club bangers, but a vulnerable star who has overcome the obstacles that come with fame.

Kesha is slated to perform at California’s KAABOO Festival, the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, as well as a headlining Vegas show at the M Resort Casino and Spa in the days prior to the Rainbow Tour’s official start.
