Dead and Company announce fall shows

Dead and Company is not dead yet! The Grateful Dead offspring band have announced plans to hit the road on a 15-date tour this fall, following the success of their previous tour this spring.

The band—comprised of original Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti—will kick off their string of fall shows November 12 with a two-night stint at Madison Square Garden. The tour’s start date comes just weeks after Mayer concludes his Search for Everything Tour, which he had strategically planned to accommodate his involvement with Dead and Company.

The rockers will play major U.S. arenas, albeit excluding west coast cities, through December 8 when the trek concludes in Sunrise, Florida.

Since their formation in late 2015, Dead & Co. have kept plenty busy. Their fall performances mark the band’s fourth tour in two years, and they are slated to host their own three-day concert vacation in Riviera, Maya Mexico in February. Their dedication, along with overwhelming passion from fans, leads one to believe that Dead and Company is not going anywhere any time soon.
