Music heavyweights across all genres have new tour dates scheduled, all of which are on sale today. Check out all of today’s biggest concerts on sale below.
Billy Joel – The Piano Man announced a pair of new shows coming at the start of next year. His ongoing residency at Madison Square Garden will stretch until January 11, when he is pegged to perform all of his smash hits. Joel will then head to Tampa for a February 9 gig at Amalie Arena. Having just become a father for the third time, Joel is yet to schedule more North American concerts in 2018, so fans should act fast for their chance to see the talented singer. Kenny Chesney – Tickets for Chesney’s Trip Around the Sun stadium tour are now on sale to the general public today, and are expected to sell fast. The country superstar will launch the tour April 21 in Tampa, and invade 17 other cities throughout the summer, including Seattle, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Nashville. He will be joined by Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay on all dates. Browse tickets here.
Queens of the Stone Age – After launching their Villains World Tour in June, Queens of the Stone Age have announced a second North American leg, slated to kick off January 22 with a pair of Canadian shows. The band just wrapped up the first leg this week, and are gearing up for a string of European dates throughout November. Apart from the opening gigs in Canada, the remainder of the 2018 tour dates are exclusively along the West Coast, including stops in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. George Strait – While the country legend is officially retired from extensive touring, he has not given up performing entirely. Strait has a handful of shows scheduled at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in December and February, and given the growing gap between his performances, tickets are expected to sell out rapidly. Justin Moore – 30 dates for Justin Moore’s ongoing Hell on a Highway Tour are now on sale. The country singer/songwriter launched his solo trek earlier this month, and marks his second tour this year after joining forces with Lee Brice for the co-headlining American Made tour. Moore will perform eight shows in the coming weeks before taking the month of December off. The remainder of the tour will run from January through April and stop in Salt Lake City, Washington, D.C., San Jose, New Orleans and Baltimore among other cities. Judas Priest – Grammy-winning metal band Judas Priest is gearing up for their Firepower World Tour, which will make stops in 25 North American cities next spring. The tour is slated to begin in Wilkes Barre, PA on March 13 and wrap up May 1 in San Antonio, making stops in San Francisco, Portland, Milwaukee, and Detroit along the way. Ahead of the tour’s launch, the band is set to drop their 18th studio album Firepower, though no release date has been confirmed. In addition to tour excitement, the band is also buzzing over their recent nomination to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tickets for the Firepower Tour are available here.
3 Doors Down – Rockers 3 Door Down will treat fans to a different concert experience on their Back Porch Jam Tour. The band will perform stripped-down acoustic sets of their biggest hits and deep cuts on the 18-date trek, which stretches from January 16 through February 11. Cities on the agenda include Reno, Detroit, Santa Rosa and Denver. Tickets are available here.
