Khalid announces 2018 Roxy Tour

Fresh off of earning five Grammy nominations, breakout artist Khalid has announced plans for a new headlining tour. The singer/songwriter will head out on the 19-date Roxy Tour, beginning next May. 

The tour is set to kick off May 5 in Portland, Oregon and head to 18 additional venues across North America before wrapping up June 7 in Raleigh. Stops on the tour include Baltimore, Dallas, Salt Lake City, and Los Angeles, as well as a pair of Canadian gigs in Vancouver and Toronto.

Prior to the Roxy Tour, the 19-year-old also has a show scheduled at Radio City Music Hall January 27, one night before the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, where he is hoping to have a successful night. Khalid earned an impressive five nominations, including one for Best New Artist. His Platinum-selling debut album American Teen is up for Best Urban Contemporary Album, single “Location” scored a nod for Best R&B Song, and acclaimed  collaboration with Logic and Alessia Cara, “1-800-273-8255” earned nominations for both Song of the Year and Best Music Video.

The Roxy Tour is named for the singer’s rescue dog Roxy, and to support animals in need, Khalid will donate $1 from every ticket sold to local animal shelters near each tour stop.
